Benchmark Assessment v2

In Friday’s class we finished our benchmark that we started on Tuesday. We finished questions 13 to 20. We analyzed political cartoons, and also wrote paragraphs about the Bill of Rights. After we finished we got time to ourselves. I completed a lot of my math work, and was on my phone.

Work Day

In today’s class Mr. Rease was out. We had a sub, and was given a free day to do all work. Today was a block schedule class. In class I completed my math homework, and also completed my Spanish homework. Lastly I finished the rest off class on my phone, and preparing for next period’s math test.

Benchmark assessment two

In today’s class we took a Benchment assessment by the district. Everyone in the district that took American Literature had to take it. We only did twelve out of the twenty questions given to us. That is all Mr. Rease assigned us to do. In the assessment we answered multiple choice questions, and had to write our part of the story, following the ending.

Ethnicity Collage

In my Collage we have six pictures. The flag is Eritrean, the green represents the land, the red represents the blood, the blue represents the seas, and the yellow represents harvest. In my collage we also have a woman dressed in traditional clothing. Along with jewelry wore by our people. We have a wedding, because weddings are very big in my culture, and we also have women dancing in their traditional dance's. Lastly we have our traditional food, called injeria.

Fences Group Reading and Collage

In today’s class we did what we were doing yesterday. We read Scene three as a group, and read them as each of our assigned characters. We also learned about connotations and denotation. We had had a practice where we figured what words were negative, neutral, and positive. Lastly we have a collage on our ethnicity due on Monday.
