In today’s class we had a Newsela article reading. The article was about shoes, more specifically the impact plastic/waste has on our environment. Nearly 35 percent of plastics that go into the ocean are from synthetic materials. About 500,000 tons of microplastics enter the ocean every year. Lastly I did my power words, my writing prompt, and my quiz.

In yesterday’s class we had a Newsela article. The article was about AI. We had to create a writing prompt, have a short quiz on certain words, and have a short quiz in the text. I spent the day quickly finishing the Newsela article. I then went about my other assignment. Lastly I reviewed odor the EOC on Wenesday . 

In Friday’s class we had a common literature assignment. I wasn’t here Thursday block class so I had two that I needed to do. The common lit was about people’s behavior. When faced with different social situations a lot of people’s behavior will change. Lastly we had an assessment to do about the story.

My spring break was relaxing. I spent my break studying for certain tests, working, and playing video games. I also spent my spring break playing with my family. I went to a trip to Savannah where I rode a ferry. I also got to see otters and eat Cotten candy. I then went back to Atlanta to celebrate a wedding. I got to serve as one of the best mans. I went to church where I celebrated my fasting being at its half point. We sung, eat, played, and even had a sleepover at my church. Lastly I spent the rest of my days in my house anticipating my birthday.

Class was extended due to the heritage assembly. In class we had nearly two hours to complete missing work. We also had lunch in his class. I spent class finishing work from this class and others. I than spent the rest of class playing on my phone and cards with my friends.

 In class we continued with our story. This time we had an assignment. In the assignment we had a prompts. We needed to pick two prompts and write a narrative story about it. We did it in the form of sentences and had multiple things to write.

In class we continued on the story of the life you save may be your own. This time we had questions to answer. It was a total of fifth teen questions. We had all day to answer them. Lastly we finished class with preparing for our assignment on Thursday.

In class we had a reading assignment. We had to read a story called “The life you save may be your own.” It featured an old woman, a man, and a little girl that is the daughter of the old woman. In the story the characters all have different motives. They use each other to achieve what they want.
