Rhetorical Devices

In today’s class we learned about a Rhetorical Device. That Rhetorical Device was Hyperbole. A Hyperbole is exaggerating some parts of your statement to give it attention or focus. The three different ways people use hyperbole is to make a strong point, snap attention to something, and to show difference. Lastly we than had a practice in which we wrote a hyperbole using one of the three ways; on different topics.
