Vocabulary Words

In today’s class we did the same thing as Monday. Mr. Rease was back in today and he assigned us Vocabulary words to do. We had to create a sentence with 15 different vocabulary words. We also had an exercise where we had to fill in the blanks with the words. After finishing the assignment we had class time to ourselves.

Benchmark Assesment

 In yesterday’s class we took a Benchmark. The Bench mark took up the entire class period. It was a block schedule day. The Benchmark was split into two parts, one about the Presidents Kennedys speech, and another on FDR Second Bill of Rights. We answered multiple choose questions on both topics, quick responses, and lastly a full essay.

Vocabulary fill in

In yesterday’s class Mr. Rease was out and we had a sub. She’s gave us a sheet of paper and told us to put in ten vocab words given to us in the blanks. There were 20 questions and ten words. Each word needing to be used twice. Mr. Rease will be here today and we will finish up our test.

Creating claims

In yesterday’s class we had a in-class assignment. We had to create claims to certain proms and also create opposing claims. We also had a reflection at the end, asking if any of our own opinions had changed. We had a class activity where we shared some of the claims we made ourselves. I completed the assignment in class.
